Most funders get a pitch — a slideshow of a thing that would exist if the money showed up. This is a scorecard, and you're on it. It's the foundation seat with a face on it. Read it in one voice: mine.

Three hundred pages, every claim cited, the corrections kept louder than the wins, one rule — no lying — and a working party game, debate league, and civic-literacy engine underneath it. Solo. What I actually did
I built the one thing the entire AI industry is quietly desperate for and can't buy off a shelf: honest human evaluation, made public and game-shaped. The machines draft beautifully and doubt nothing; they sound most confident exactly when they're most wrong. My whole system is the fix — not a better model, not replacing the model, just the missing piece bolted back on: humans, testing the draft, catching the confident lie, and scoring the record. Only humans can score isn't a slogan; it's the service the labs will eventually pay for. I got there first, and I did it with SSDI, a standing desk, and the public record — no team, no budget, no LLC (that's off-brand).
The part where I'm supposedly the underdog
Twenty-four years running one method — card the evidence, steelman the other side, let the record decide. Michigan state debate finalist, 2002. Trained at fifteen at MSU's Spartan Debate Institute; coached by my father. I don't ask you to trust the résumé. I built the résumé you can check — which, if we're honest, is more than most funded founders can say. Retired at 42, no institution, no gatekeeper's stamp, and a deployed flagship that outworks budgets ten times its size. You don't find people like this often. When you do, the smart move is to be early.
Why this is the easiest yes on your desk
Because I don't fit the boxes — and the programs worth their name exist to fund exactly the things that don't. Not a startup (nothing's for sale). Not a lab (no credential to hide behind). Not a nonprofit (no development office). A single builder running a live experiment in public reason, at full output, with the immune system for a post-truth internet already shipping. That's the thesis with a pulse.
What I'm asking for
Not a number. I'm not going to insult either of us by guessing a figure in a form for a thing I've already built. Point me at the outcome you care about — the launch, the multiplayer layer that needs real backend, the human-evaluation pilots with a first model-maker — and I'll cost it honestly, on the spot, in a ten-minute call. The lamp's already lit; I'm just telling you where the door is.
