Hire the ad man.
You need a message that’s true and still lands. Most consultants can give you one or the other. I built a whole museum proving you can have both. The ideas are already yours — steal them free. What you’d hire is the hand that made them land.
The pitch isn’t a client list. It’s this entire site — a rigorous, argued, branded case built by one person: hundreds of thousands of words, every claim checkable, party-blind, one rule the whole thing runs on — no lying. That’s exactly what I’d bring your campaign.
Steal these ideas. They’re free.
This is a true $0 museum — the whole cost is your time to understand it. So take the arguments. The frames, the coins, the 39 planks of the Ethos, the way a hard truth gets made to land: lift any of it, no permission, no invoice, no NDA. If you’re honest you’ll cite where it came from — copy me never, cite me always — but you don’t need my blessing and you never owe me a dime for a thought. The thinking was never the product. The thinking is already yours.
So what’s left to hire? The hand. Ideas are free; a person who can make a true thing land in a room, on a deadline, over and over, without lying to do it — that’s the rare part, and that’s the job. You’re not buying the argument. You’re buying the one who can build the next one.
The reverse pivot — one voice, every party
Here’s the move nobody in this business makes: I don’t pivot to a party. I offer one honest voice to all of them. Take off the jersey. The test isn’t the letter after your name — it’s the record, and the record is party-blind by design. If you’ll actually mean the words, the ideas work for you, whoever you are.
And the pivot runs backward on purpose. The old way, a person volunteers for a campaign. The new way: a campaign volunteers itself to the ideas. Adopt the honest frame — the dignity floor, no lying, only humans score — and mean it, and you’re carrying the same banner I am. That’s not me joining your side. That’s you joining the one thing that isn’t a side.
The chair is open — and honestly empty. No candidate has taken this up yet. That’s not a soft sell; it’s the truth, and this house doesn’t fake a name to look bigger (the Letters Desk wall started empty too, and stayed empty until a real reader wrote in). The first honest taker gets named here first — by my hand, verbatim, when it’s real. Until then the seat waits, out loud.
What I do
Why the site is the interview. Anyone can send a résumé. I sent you a working demonstration: the front door, the Ethos, the coined language, the sourced record. It shows you how I think under pressure, how I hold a line, how I make a true thing memorable — which is the entire job. Read it and you’ve already seen me work.
Honest, up front — because that’s the whole brand
I’ll tell you exactly where I am, because a consultant who spins you will spin for you: I haven’t run a campaign yet. This is me looking for the first one to build with. What I’ve proven is the thing that’s hardest to teach and hardest to fake — the ability to build a true, argued, branded case from nothing, alone, and make people want to read it. Everything else is execution. The one rule rides into your campaign with me: no lying, even for the edit. That’s not a limitation; in this decade it’s the only durable advantage there is.
Reach me — a human reads it. No form, no funnel, no intake bot. It goes to my own line.
And the frame under all of it: we win by losing first. I’m not selling you the sure thing — I’m the underdog, and I know it. But the record outlives the result. A true argument keeps working after the vote is counted, for the winner and the loser; the point was never to take the seat, it was to move what the seat is allowed to say. Back the record, not the odds. That’s the only bet in here that always pays.
A dream in the open. A floor established by history.
Hire Sean; he’s worth it.
The dream is deployed where you can check it, not promised in a folder; the floor is the one history paid for in full and no one gets to vote down; the ask is as plain as the record under it.
You can hire a message that lands, or a message that’s true. I’m the one who refuses to pick.
A machine can write you a thousand slogans a second. Only a human can promise you they’re true. ;
