Why it's a story

The machine can generate, calculate, and imitate; but a score is a judgment, and a judgment needs values, context, and someone who can be held to account. That's the whole thesis in four words: only humans score. It lands as a party game, a set of literacy games, and a museum of arguments; underneath, it's a working stress-test for the one thing the machine can't do; doubt itself, and answer for the call.

Here's the hook most newsrooms are missing: it's down the middle, and that's the hard part. The research threads the needle and tries to make everyone right; not left, not right, the honest center that's expensive to hold. The game is the joke; the argument underneath is load-bearing. No fabricated coverage. This page claims no endorsements, no prior pickups, and no affiliations it can't stand behind; if an outlet runs it, that's their call and their record, not a logo we borrowed.

Party-blind by construction. The test runs the same regardless of who's reading; the invitation is to check the record yourself, not to take a side. The one place it plants a flag is the floor: no lying, and human dignity is not up for a vote.
