Abstract
The machine can generate, calculate, and imitate. It cannot score — a score is a judgment, and judgment requires values, context, and accountability. Only humans can score. This site is a deployed public instrument for that thesis: a literacy game run in reverse, a debate format, a party game, an honest ledger — an immune system for an information ecosystem running without one. One rule governs everything: no lying.
1 · The problem
Three epidemics, one root. The confident machines: models that sound most certain exactly when they're most wrong, drafting at a scale no newsroom can check (the Tell). The loneliness economy: platforms whose product spec is isolation (they want us lonely). The drained commons: a country that filled its public pools with concrete rather than share them, then built prison cells at pool prices (prisons, not pools). All three are the same failure: nothing pulls the sentence, the feed, or the budget back toward the human.
2 · The solution — already deployed
You're reading it. Not a roadmap: a running system. The music-typing front door where typos are awarded (only humans err — the error is the signature). Spot the Lie and the graded newsdesk (score the false, not the swallowed). The People's Debate (the room scores the argument). 3 · The mechanism — π, the infinite ladder
The funding architecture was designed around one number on purpose. Everything here prices on π — and π never ends. The Apex Square is forever-for-sale by the next digit: 3.14 → 3.141 → 3.1415 → onward, with no final rung and no last holder. That's not a gimmick; it's the honest shape of the need: the ask is unbounded because the mission is. Infinite digits, infinite ladder — because every town that doesn't have a warm pool yet is the next decimal place. A mission built entirely of reversals (the pledge drive, propaganda, spam — all run backward) could only be denominated in the circle's own constant. Full circle is the business model.
4 · Use of funds — pools in place
The money lands as water. Warm community pools, walking distance, open in January — starting in Michigan, a state made of freshwater and short on warm lanes. The case is on the record: the cheapest health in America (buoyancy takes 80–90% of body weight off the joints; the one obesity tool that never gates by wallet), the loneliness cure that actually works (a warm shared room), and the reverse-prison math (a cell is a pool that didn't get built). Secondary lanes: the launch, the multiplayer layer, human-evaluation pilots with model makers (the reverse pitch).
5 · The team
One human — the résumé you can check: twenty-four years of card-the-evidence method, a deployed flagship, corrections kept louder than wins — and the machine he presses, which drafts and never decides. The McKendry Machine: the machine drafts; only humans score. That division of labor is the whole safety model, and it's load-bearing.
6 · The ask
Not a number — a conversation. Foundations must move ~5% of assets every year; they hunt for finished, checkable projects. This is one. Point at the outcome you care about and it gets costed honestly, on the spot. The foundation seat is the door; the Hall of Targeted Readers is the guest list; the contact is on the front door of the whole house.
Most white papers ask you to imagine the product. This one asks you to press any key.
