The litmus question, party-blind. Every candidate should have to answer it plainly: do only humans score? Because it isn't a left question or a right question; it's the question under both. It asks whether they still believe a human makes the final judgment; on a life, on a floor, on a war, on the record; or whether they'd hand the score to a machine, a market, or a donor and call it done. Answer it wrong and the whole platform is a spreadsheet wearing a face. Answer it right and you've named the floor everyone can stand on (the record is the arbiter; the human does the scoring).
