The dream board — clearly the dream, not the done

Someday

Coming soon to a theater near-ish to you… someday; The room isn't built yet. But this is what it looks like when the world catches up — and the house keeps a dream board the same way it keeps everything else: in the light, marked honestly, no over-promise.

when I can afford it

The pilgrimage of chaos

If you can't watch the cameras, you go stand in front of them. Cloudflare spread its entropy shrines around the world: the lava-lamp wall in San Francisco (the one people actually photograph), the chaotic pendulums in London, the wave machine in Lisbon, the radioactive decay in Singapore. Selfies in front of each — someday, when the ticket money's real.

when the funding lands

A pinball machine in the basement

Why not. The whole house is about the machine — the gray one that drafts and can't feel a thing. The machine that belongs in your home is the good one: lights, flippers, pure human reflex, no lying. The basement gets the machine that's all gold. Bones before basement arcade — but the dream's free. First call when the day comes: Pinball Pete's, the East Lansing staple — local legend before faceless catalog (eBay as the backup). And if a meet-cute happens at the machine next to mine, the house won't complain — we're just trying to be found, after all. (A one-way local shout-out — no affiliation claimed.)

two miles up the road

Go Green — the ag college calls

The whole university sits two miles from the porch. Someday MSU comes calling — to teach, maybe, or just to swap notes (admissions, call me maybe 🟢⚪). Especially the ag college: a basement food garden, grow-lights humming, real vegetables grown at home — self-sufficiency as dignity, the most accessible house learning to feed itself. (A one-way local shout-out — no affiliation claimed.)

soon, I hope

People I'm most likely to shoot the shit with soon

1. Will Repko — my first debate coach, and a flat-out GOAT: MSU Head Debate Coach since 1996, NDT national champion in 2004, 2006 & 2010, and the 2000 College Coach of the Year. Two miles up the road. Top of the list, by my own hand. Someday, Will — if you're willing, let's chat. 😉

3. —

(Real names by my own hand only — never invented; the rest left open. A one-way list, no affiliation claimed. Will's GOAT credentials verified & sourced; "my first coach" is my own word.)

the real one

A room full of people to laugh with

Not a crowd to convert, not an audience to sell — people worth sharing a laugh with. The whole project is just a lit room left open so that, someday, the ones worth knowing wander in. We're just trying to be found — and the finding goes both ways.

both kinds

Discovery

The word does double duty, and both are the dream: discovery in court — the record finally handed over, the door I was locked out of opened — and being discovered, found, seen. Same word. Both someday. The Record Is the Arbiter, and it keeps.

The honest part (house rule). This is a dream board — marked as the dream, not the done. Nothing here is a claim, a promise, or a thing that's happened: no show is in production, no money has landed, no ticket is booked. The house promises nothing that isn't close, and aspiration is labeled as aspiration — that honesty is what makes it safe to share. The someday is real as a someday. No lying, even about the dreams.

Someday wears a semicolon. The sentence didn't end — it leaned forward.

The semicolon is where the author could have stopped and chose to keep going. Project Semicolon; for the reason it keeps going. The story isn't over.
