What this is

One American, teaching American politics the way it was taught to me before it was taught to sell: from the record. Not the cable-news version, not the algorithm's version; the signed, dated, checkable thing itself. The one rule of the whole house is no lying, and the one lesson under everything is the record is the arbiter: read the document, not the headline; score the record, not the citation.

Why it travels

Two reasons this works from Singapore, São Paulo, Nairobi, or Manila as well as from Michigan:

  • The thesis is universal. Human dignity as the floor; no lying; only a human can score a record. None of that needs an American passport; a person anywhere judges a fact the same way.
  • The words are built to translate. I draft in plain English, in real text, never baked into images. So your browser's translate, or any tool you like, can carry almost all of it into your language with the meaning intact. Try me.

The honest floor

So you can trust it enough to argue with it: this is not a neutral textbook, and it does not pretend to be. It teaches you the method (read the record, score it yourself) and it also carries my labeled opinions, marked as opinions, set beside the verified record so you can tell which is which. I show my work; I keep the misses as loud as the wins; and the last judgment is always yours, because only humans score. Bring your doubt; it's the most welcome thing you can carry through the door.
