Name the pattern and you get the human economy: value that resolves to a person, not a metric; money that ends in a warm room, a lane in a pool, a full plate; and the one good no wallet can buy, a real human judgment, the gold star handed over by hand. Why it matters: the extraction economy is eating the humans it runs on (attention farms your loneliness, spin sells you outrage, status sells you gray), and an economy that can price everything has decided nothing is sacred.
