So you don't answer that question with a roster, because a confident list of people who "want you" is exactly the machine's hopium bluff; desire is the thing you can't verify, so it's the thing a bluff fills in. You answer the checkable question instead: who would it make sense to aim at. Aim by fit, the thing you can read before you knock; let desire find you (the builder isn't the finder).
